Goa Board chief Jose Remedios Rebello to get an extension

Chairman of Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Jose Remedios Rebello has been given an extension. His term ended in August this year but his term was further extended by one year till August 2016. He has been lauded for introducing computer-assisted paper corrections in his term. Besides implementing other measures.

Rebello completed his master’s in science. After that, he took up a job at Parvatibai Chowgule College’s higher secondary section, Margao. From there he soon moved to serve as the Principal of Fr Agnel Ashram (Verna), he was just 32 at the time. In 2012 he took over as the chairman of Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.
