The Prime Minister of Portugal, Antonio Costa is expected to visit India in January next year according to Consul General for Goa, Rui Baceira.
Baceira on account of the Independence Day Celebration said,” The Portuguese Prime Minister is coming to India in January. He is of Goan Origin. We are pleased to have him here.”
The Prime Minister of Portugal, Mr. Antonio Costa is a Lawyer turned politician who took charge as Portugal Prime Minister in November last year. He hails from Margao, a town 35 kilometers away from Panjim. The Chief Minister of Goa announced that he will formally invite Costa to his former homeland, the coastal state of Goa.
