This is a 350 year old heritage hotel in Goa, Palacio that dates from the earliest times of the Portuguese occupation of Goa, attractively restored as a house which doubles up as an exclusive seven room traditional boutique hotel in Goa.

Hidden behing a row of tall Ashoka trees, the house understates its prominence as among the most exceptional and oldest manor houses in Goa. The manor once housed the governor to Macau, and a family of administrators that included a governor to Mozambique. Perfectly set to the north of Morjim Ashwem, Arambol and Mandrem as well as the action of the Candolim – Calangute – Baga – Anjuna shores to the South.

Even make sure you take a look at the Siolim Collection – a curated group of special properties (mainly in our Village) we handle for family and friends.

As an exceptional Heritage boutique hotel in Goa, they work using a doctrine that is sensitive to its culture, the village as well as the environment. Being described by one reviewer as ‘lacking artificiality’ and having described by others as ‘understated’ and ‘refined’. They’ve got many excellent reviews but they are not seeking for that – for them is to make the guests actually appreciate their time, is what actually counts.

Called a boutique hotel, it is still a house and unlike a resort in every other manner. They plan to show guests what Goa actually is all about – an aromatic distillation of Indian and European Portuguese cultures, through  family-oriented approach to hospitality. It’s all about deep unbroken conventions, Goan tradition houses that are amazing, delicious local cuisine according to a mixture of indian spices and European influences. Eventually it’s all about an open, tolerant and joyful society, and the friendliest folks. You could find it in if you’re trying to find this at our tradition boutique hotel in Goa.

In 2001, Siolim House was a finalist for the UNESCO Heritage Prize, which considered its exceptional history and the work that was done to restore the building. In 2009, they finished a second renovation to bring back much more attributes and more detail to this heritage hotel in Goa.
