A sophisticated outdoor bar, part of a luxury boutique resort, with one of the best views in Goa, directly overlooking where the Charpora River meets the Arabian Sea. The deck is one of the most romantic locations for a sunset cock tail, After which Teso transforms from quiet lounge to party venue. An excellent well stocked bar and good food.

One would perhaps be considered biased to call it a treasure. The ambience, menu and after effects…there would be very few places in Goa that would compete on these fronts. Right on the river front in Siolim is Teso. The live DJ beats out a tune that strums its way into your inner being. The menu has a focus on Mediterranean preparations palate picked. Lounge on those comfy sofas and start with some groovy cocktails. Nibble on some starters…. The Batter Fried Olives and the Beer Battered Fish. Another favourite is the Pork Schnitzel the crumb fried crisp belly of Belgian port served with thick herbed potato wedges. There is a small corner of Tandoori preparations for the die hard spiced palates Recommended are the Tandoori Prawns… mouth watering bliss. A Mediterranean tandoori innovation is the Ischia Prawns. The delicate marination haunts and lingers for a long time to come.

Let’s go mains…. A whole hearted recommendation is the Teso Arrotolato (steam rolle salmon filet stuffed with herbal mash potatoes in a creamy leek sauce). Or try the Grilled Red Snapper… the fish fillet and the small prawns crowning it are served with an excellent roast red bell pepper sauce. For Goan old favourites the Prawn Curry, Fish Curry with rice and Chicken Cafreal is the choice. The after effects….with the taste, presentation and choice, need one say more? But hold on… besides the Strawberry Pannacota, there is the brownies. Well order if you want, but the Teso Double Chocolate Cake… it drools… its delicious. This is an up market venue, and all in all the experience is packaged well. It is a Teso.
