Goa rolls out the red carpet for VIII PORTUGUESE Film Festival : A treat for movie buffs in Goa

The ongoing Indo-Portuguese celebrations of art, cinema, music, poetry,cuisilogo-semana-da-culturane, films and more will see the VIII Portuguese Film Festival take off from the 6th to the 9th October 2016.

Organised bgeloy the Semana Da Cultura Indo-Portuguesa (Goa), the festival will showcase films in the Portuguese language from Portugal. It will be held at the Marquinez Palace in Panjim.

Six critically acclaimed films will be screened. The Film Festival will open with the famous Portuguese film ‘Cinzento e Negro’ (Grey and Black) by Luis Filipe Rocha. The other acclaimed films on view will be ‘Gelo’ (Ice) by Goncalo Galvao Telles and Luis Galvao Teles, ‘O Igrey-and-blacknimigo Sem Rosto’ (Faceless Enemy), Director Jose Farinha, ‘Copas’ (4 Hearts), by Manuel Mozos, ‘Virados do Avesso’ (Turned Inside Out) by Edgar Pera, ‘Florbela’, director Vincent Alves do O.

The Semana Da Cultura Indo-Portuguesa (Goa) organises this event annually with a view to celebrating and appreciating the rich flavours of Indo-Portuguese culture.

So all you movie buffs, get ready for three days of thrills, fun, laughter and a celebration of culture.
