This nn-descript pizzeria is not easy to spot. You have to walk down the picturesque flea market in Arambol, crowded and cloc a bloc with eateries, and just before you ready the beachfront, look out for the sign that has proclaimed you have reached the best pizzeria in Goa. This is Felini- originally started by an Italian in 1995, it is rustic, old fashioned, a one storied eatery with no pretensions of being a fine dinning restaurant. You first enter a passage where the fire wood for the owen is stacked in one corner. The table are covered with chequered tablecloths and the restaurant is lit with cane lampshades suspended from the ceiling. This eatery has a bohemian ambience symbolic of the 60’s with many of the diners reflecting that ethos itself, Felini specializes in pizzas, though these are available only in the evening.

The menu has a variety of salads, pastas seafood and meat mains, but the focus is squarely on the pizza… the 12 inch pizza. There are more than 20 varieties of pizza on the menu, which fall in three categories- regular, thin crust (with a variety of vegetarian and non vegetarian toppings), calzons or folded pizzas and then purely non vegetarian pizzas which include the restaurant old fillings. There are four variations of filling available for the calzones. The Orotolana (The vegetarian special with sautéed green eggplant, green zucchini and bellpeppers on a bed of freshly made tomato sauce topping with gooey strings of mozzarella cheese), the calzone classic and the all time favorite Pepperoni considered to be Felini’s signature pizza. Felini has a huge range of pasta too, with the Fungi and the Pesto being top choices and preferred by most souls who frequent the place. Fresh salads, a large board, fillets and steaks complete the menu here. A wine list is also available. So this is the place to eat and drink and forget your blues.
