Hacked Government Websites Restored Now

Twelve hacked Government websites have been restored. According to sources, the twelve hacked Government webistes were of the department of Sainik Welfare, Captain of Ports, Water Resources Department, Directorate of Food and Drugs Administration, Directorate of Printing Press and Stationary, NRI Commission, Office of Labour Commissioner, Goa Dental College, Central Library, Directorate of Agriculture and Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs.

Initially the access to these websites was blocked. The cause of hacking has been identified and a FIR has been lodged in the Porvorim Police Station. The cause was identified as vulnerability in the Content Management System.

A new setup of web services is put into place with the latest technologies in the market. The hacked Government websites have been cleared off their vulnerabilities and re-deployed on the newly configured web.
