Brotherhood of Bulleteers Motorcycling Consortium (BOBMC) member clubs in India hosts the happening annual event, Rider Mania. This year the event is scheduled to take place from 18th to 20th November at Vagator, Goa. Vernon Dias initiated the event in 2003 to commemorate the spirit of motorcycling.

The BOBMC Rider Mania changes its venue to the home of the hosting club and has hosted the events at places such as Mumbai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Delhi and Shillong in the Northeast among others.

Indian Royal Enfield motorcycle owners gather for this event in large numbers.

Till date, 5,492 riders from different corners of the nation like Orissa, have registered for the three-day fest in Goa. Bengaluru has the maximum participation at 1,138 riders and enthusiasts with Pune and Mumbai following the lead.

This year’s main attractions include a riding school for women, basic off-road training on the first day by experts, film-making and also an amazing artist lineup that will include Papon, Nucleya and more.

Competitions like ‘Carry Your Bike’ and ‘Assembly Wars’ will be held. This will be a good way to test participant’s biking skills and to build up the spirit of motorcycling.

Early risers will get a chance to be a part of group rides on November 19 and 20 respectively. They will also get to go to places like Mahadei Wildlife Sanctuary, Divar Island via Panjim to Old Goa. And a ferry ride being an add-on to the trip before reaching the ultimate location, Vagator.

A special ‘Shoot Your Rider Mania 2016’ Workshop will take place too. It will help participants with a knack for film-making learn how to turn their mobile cameras into a film-making tool.

The Royal family comes together on these particular days for a common motive to solemnise the pride, joy and love of riding.

Let’s get ready to witness the beastly machines, thumping through the state with pride!
