It’s that time of year again. The time for beer lovers to unite once more. Oktoberfest 2018 is back with a bang thanks to a collaboration between Bullseye Entertainment and Casino Strike, the biggest land casino in Goa. Other sponsors of the event include SINQ Hospitality that has partnered with Bullseye Entertainment for last year’s event. After the success the 2017 event, Oktoberfest 2018 promises to be even bigger this year with an awesome line-up of performers.

Oktoberfest 2018 – A beer lover’s happy place

Oktoberfest is a very popular beer festival in Europe. It originated in Munich and is held every year towards the end of September, spilling into the beginning of October. Thousands gather to celebrate the different kinds of beers from all over the world and it’s an event not to be missed. In fact, people from Goa have even been known to make a special trip to Germany just for Oktoberfest.

Oktoberfest 2018 begins on the 26th of October and goes on till the 28th of October. There are just around three days to go for Goa’s biggest beer festival. Last year, the venue was the ever popular Inox Courtyard in Panjim. This year, with the promise that the festival is going to be even bigger, the organizers have moved it to the D.B Grounds in Campal.

The entertainment at Oktoberfest 2018

In its 8th year, Oktoberfest 2018 has tons in store for people wanting to attend the festivities. The highlight is of course beer with more than a dozen craft beers from local and national breweries.

Other highlights include live music, food, a beer garden, and beer Olympic games. And of course, the headlining act is none other than Sean Kingston! Anyone familiar with songs like Beautiful Girls from way back in 2007 and Fire Burning in 2009 among many others will have the time of their life at this special show.

This is a great platform for craft brewers from all over India. Those attending will get a chance to sample some great craft beer. The Beer Garden is being set up for this reason and will also serve as a great seating area from where to enjoy the live music acts on stage. Beer Olympics will also take place at the venue, giving participants a chance to compete and show off their skills and win some amazing prizes. Food is also a big priority at such a festival and there will be different kinds of cuisine to go along with the craft beers.

Oktoberfest 2018 will also have some great music acts from across the state performing on each day. Check out the line up below and don’t miss out on hearing any of them. Some have performed last year at Oktoberfest 2017 so those will be a familiar sight for repeat attendees.
